The Pan-Gi Moon Institute for Sustainable Development strengthens collaboration with UNICEF.

A delegation of representatives from UNICEF, led by international humanitarian figure and philanthropist Nazanin Alakija, recently visited al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU). The purpose of the visit was to strengthen collaboration between UNICEF and the university in advancing sustainable development initiatives.


During the visit, the distinguished guests had the opportunity to explore the university campus, including a visit to the Situation Management Center. They also engaged in productive discussions with Asel Uvaliyeva, a member of the university's Board and Vice-Rector for Operations at al-Farabi KazNU. Key representatives from both organizations participated in the discussions, including Saltanat Abdugaziyeva, a leading specialist from the Pan-Gi Moon Institute for Sustainable Development at al-Farabi KazNU, and Tatiana Aderikhina, Head of Education and Skills at UNICEF.


The Pan-Gi Moon Institute for Sustainable Development at al-Farabi KazNU is intensifying its efforts to contribute to global cooperation and the realization of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The meeting showcased al-Farabi KazNU's achievements within UNICEF's project on gender equality and mapped out the future development of this collaboration.


The outcomes of the discussions affirmed the mutual understanding between the Pan-Gi Moon Institute for Sustainable Development and UNICEF, underscoring their commitment to continue close collaboration in upcoming initiatives.
