In honor of the Day of Media Workers, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Zhanseyt Tuimebayev, awarded the Department of Information and Communications.

Certificates of Honor from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were presented to the Director of the Department, KazNU Press Secretary Kanshaiym Baydaulet and editor-journalist Aigerim Alimbekova.

The Ministry's "Letters of thanks" were received by Deputy Director of the Department Almat Isadilov and head of the TV studio "Farabi media" Bakyt Kurmanbekov.

On the eve of the significant day, Gulzat Tabyn, a journalist and editor of the Qazaq Universiteti newspaper, and Svetlana Umyrgaleeva, a journalist and editor of the press service, were awarded the "Farabi" gold medal.

For his contribution to the development of KazNU, Executive Secretary of the newspaper "Qazaq universiteti", layout designer Talgat Kirshibayev was awarded the medal "Yeren yenbegi ushin".

KazNU Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev also presented a "Letter of Thanks" to Aiganym Amangazina, translator and editor of the Farabi University website.
